Our Mexican Restaurant has a warm,intimate and fun dining atmosphere, in surroundings that feel like a little piece of Mexico.With its bright and colorful handmade tapestries,woven blankets,adobe booths,subtle mexican music and rainbow of lights,the feeling is very 'Mexican Hacienda'.
The basis for the restaurant evolved from 12 years of having mexican food on the menu at Sumner icon Club Bazaar,with Chef owner Glenn Michael having visited Mexico on more than one occasion.
All of the food at our restaurant is created from scratch,with fresh produce selected personally from the market to make it as authentic as possible.
One thing we are sure of, is that everyone has different taste buds,so there is a variety of flavors, with plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options - you just need to ask a friendly staff member.
If things do get a bit spicy,the restaurant is fully licensed, and the beautiful Margarita Lounge is just next to the dinning area so customers can choose a beverage to cool their taste buds,or perhaps indulge in some of the specialty Tequilas.
A popular feature is The hot chocolate shot.The Headless Mexican was the first to put this sweet treat on the menu,and at 96 per cent fat-free it is a delicious,intense but guilt free chocolate hit.
The flavors and friendly staff are what keep customers coming back to our restaurant,and so our aim is for people to go away with memories of an enjoyable night with great tasting food!
