Where does our name come from?
The Headless Mexican is actually a drink, consisting of a bottle of Corona topped with Tequila & Kahlua.
When did we start?
In a cantina kitchen at the back of Club Bazaar Restaurant in 1995. We moved to these premises when they became available in 2005.
During this time a number of amazing staff from all over the world, many of them from Sth America, have influence and shaped our menu and it’s flavours, as well as contributing to the uniqueness of The Headless Mexican.
We believe that offering house made food is an expression of love. Almost all of our produce is made on side using fresh products. That includes our desserts, chutneys, smoked pork belly, smoked chillies for our sauces, and more.
We hope you enjoy your experience, and look forward to see you soon!
